Friday Happy Hour Is Back at The Olympic

Every Friday from 12pm to 4pm, The Olympic in Newmarket is open to casual visitors at low rates. There is no membership and no booking. You just show up and use the pool, gym, sauna or steam room.

What Is Friday Happy Hour?

Friday Happy Hour is a casual entry offer at The Olympic Pools and Fitness Centre, 77 Broadway, Newmarket. It runs every Friday between 12pm and 4pm. During this time, you can use the facility without a membership. It is a good option if you are on a lunch break, working from home nearby, or just want to fit in a swim or workout before the weekend.

Friday Happy Hour Pricing

There are two options, both only available during the Friday 12pm to 4pm window:

$10.50 – GYM – Includes access to: Gym, Group Fitness, Swimming and Sauna / Steam.

$6.50 – POOL – Includes access to: Pools, Sauna and Steam.

Outside the Friday window, our standard casual prices apply. If you plan to visit often, it may be worth looking at our membership options, which can work out cheaper for regular visits.

What’s Included

Depending on which option you choose, Friday Happy Hour gives you access to:

• Our gym floor, set up for strength and cardio training
• Our 50m heated indoor pool, good for lap swimming or a relaxed swim
• Our sauna and steam room, good for winding down after a workout or swim

You just need to bring your togs, a towel, and workout gear. Reception can help with anything else when you arrive.

Why Friday Afternoon Works Well

The 12pm to 4pm window sits outside the usual before-work and after-work rush, so it is often a quieter time to swim or train. It is also an easy way to end the working week on a good note — get a swim or workout in, spend some time in the sauna, and head into the weekend already sorted.
