The Olympic Pools & Fitness Centre is Auckland's most complete health and fitness facility. We have a 50-metre heated pool, a fully-equipped gym, group fitness classes every day, personal trainers, sauna, steam room, and a spa pool — all in the heart of Newmarket.
We opened in 1940 as New Zealand's very first 50-metre swimming pool, and we've been growing ever since. In 1994 the facility was enclosed and modernised, and today we offer something truly unique — a world-class aquatic and fitness centre that serves everyone from serious athletes to people just getting started.
Whether you're swimming laps at 6am, taking a lunchtime yoga class, or unwinding in the spa after a long week — this is your place.

Refuel at the Aqua Cafe.
Right here in the building, the Aqua Cafe is the perfect spot to refuel before or after your session. Fresh food, great coffee, smoothies, and snacks that make sense for an active lifestyle.
We also have a swim shop at reception stocked with Aqualine goggles, caps, kickboards, and accessories — so even if you forget something, we've got you covered.
